Dr. Frederick W. Crumb was the eighth President of the Potsdam Normal School and oversaw the transition of the Normal School to the State University of New York at Potsdam. Dr. Crumb was the longest serving president at the college, leading the institution for 21 years, from 1946 to his death in 1967.
An exhibit comprised of the names, and portraits where available, of the past Presidents of SUNY Potsdam from the 1800s when the college was St. Lawrence Academy to the current State University of New York College at Potsdam.
The Second World War required the entirety of the United States to sacrifice of themselves in order to support the fight to maintain justice and freedom in the world. This is an exhibit of newspaper articles relating to the efforts of students, alumni, and faculty of the Potsdam State Teachers College both during and immediately after the war to support the U.S. military.
