Title
Women's Studies Program "Changes Lives"
Description
This article outlines the increasing growth of the Women's Studies academic discipline. I learned that the Women's Studies department was founded in 1992, under the direction of Anne Sisson Raymond. It branched out of the Politics Department, which I honestly didn't know prior to reading this article. The director at this time, Liliana Trevizan, says that she recommends Women's Studies courses to all students, and that many say it changed their lives and the way they look at the world. I feel honored to be a part of this minor, and reading the article made me even happier to be involved
